Previously, in 2013 Sophia Willets received her real estate license and was with SJ Fowler Real Estate, a local small apartment brokerage and property management company located in the southeast valley of Arizona. Upon her first 10 days at the firm, she sold her first property and by her second year, she became the number one producer for SJ Fowler, in less than three years. Sophia has closed 187 transactions and in the past two years has achieved the status of being in the top 1% of Phoenix small apartment brokers.

Before founding GRACE CRE, Joshua was a Realtor with an international luxury brand. After studying and working in the luxury home market, he realized these homes were fun to market, but poor investments. As he began working with investor clients his desire shifted from promoting high-end houses, to underwriting and marketing cash-flowing properties. Discovery of tax incentives, and using positive leverage to increase an IRR above cash-on-cash were just a few benefits that motivated him to invest in multifamily.
Having lived in different countries, Joshua has a multi-cultural world view and familiar with the investor mentality. He speaks fluent Spanish. As an Arizona native, Joshua’s personal street-level knowledge is unequaled when parsing the distinctions that can inform intelligent decision-making.
Joshua has worked in the insurance industry, and has been Project Manager, for one of Arizona’s largest companies, where he led a team of successful sales professionals to increase profit margins by 75% in his first year. Prior to joining the firm, Joseph worked in the home building industry for national builder CalAtlantic Homes where he was responsible for selling and managing some of the company’s most highly regarded Arizona developments including Eastmark, Cadence at Gateway and Las Sendas. He completed the transaction of more than 250 ground up single-family homes totaling over $80 million. Joseph truly is a multifaceted real estate professional, as a General Contractor of Residential and Small Commercial construction he formed a construction company with two partners and is also a licensed mortgage broker.
Originally from Romeo, MI, Joseph moved to Scottsdale to work for Banner Health where he enthusiastically applied his commitment to serve others. He holds degrees in Biology & Chemistry from Oakland University in Rochester, MI. Outside of work, Joseph enjoys listening to Vivaldi’s music, reading C.G. Jason Carthen is from Miami Florida where he was actively involved in many facets of the real estate industry growing up. His long history of involvement in the commercial real estate industry began while gaining valuable experience managing family owned apartments and commercial property where he was in charge of marketing, accounting, support staff and property management.
